Diving Opens 2019 at Three-Day Georgia Diving Invite

COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Mizzou men's and women's diving teams open the new year at the three-day Georgia Diving Invitational, Jan. 4-6, at Gabrielsen Natatorium in Athens, Ga. More than 80 divers are slated to compete at the Invitational, including competitors from eight Southeastern Conference programs.
The invitational starts Friday with the women's 3-meter and men's 1-meter competitions. Women's 1-meter and men's 1-meter take place on Saturday, followed by platform on Sunday. Friday and Saturday preliminaries start at 10 a.m CT., with the top 12 competitors to square off immediately in the finals. Friday's single-round platform competition will start at 9 a.m. CT Live results can be found at DiveMeets.com.
Six Tigers Amber Brickey, Payton Conrad, Will Gottsch, Ike Khamis, Andy Kreiter, Sarah Rousseau, will compete on all three events. Two Tigers, Tally Brown and Kyle Goodwin, will only compete on the springboards.
