
Mizzou Women’s Golf Travels to Athens for Final Fall Tournament

The Tigers compete Friday-Sunday in Georgia
ATHENS, GA. – Mizzou Women's Golf will close out its fall campaign this weekend competing in the Liz Murphy Fall Collegiate Classic, hosted by the University of Georgia. The event will once again feature a 54-hole stroke play tournament encompassing three rounds of 18 holes over the course of three consecutive days.
Mizzou will face off against 10 other teams: Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Georgia, Kentucky, LSU, Mississippi State, Tennessee, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt. The Tigers tee off in pairings with Kentucky and Mississippi State starting at 9:19 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 6.
WHERE: The event will take place at the University of Georgia Golf Course (Par-72, 6,302 yards) in Athens, GA.
WHEN: The first round will begin on Friday, Nov. 6 and finish on Sunday, Nov. 8. Mizzou's first pairing is set to tee off at 9:19 a.m. with the rest of the pairings following in 12-minute intervals, finishing with the final Tiger teeing off at 9:55 a.m.

Headlining Mizzou's lineup for the third consecutive time this season is sophomore Sophia Yoemans (Red Wing, Minn.). She seeks to record her 10th career round of under par or better this weekend after placing T-38 last week at The Ally and T-1 on the team.
Coming off her career debut at The Ally, freshman Emily Staples (Orlando, Fla.) is slotted in the second spot this week and hoping to build off of a solid first tournament last week which consisted of an eagle and five birdies.
Senior Noelle Beijer (Assendelft, The Netherlands) will be representing the Tigers in the third spot of the lineup after carding her 10th round under par at Mizzou with a season low 70 last week at The Ally. She looks to continue her career streak of placing in the Top-40 in nine consecutive tournaments.
Holding the fourth spot will be sophomore Brianne Bolden (Mokena, Ill.). She returns to the lineup after her season debut in the Blessings Collegiate Invitational. Rounding out the lineup will be senior Jess Yuen (Bolingbrook, Ill.) competing in the final spot for the Tigers.
