
Mizzou Volleyball Outlasts Texas A&M on Senior Night

Tigers close home slate with five-set victory
COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Volleyball (13-7, 13-7 SEC) sent its four-member senior class out with a 3-2 (22-25, 25-19, 25-17, 22-25, 15-11) victory over Texas A&M (9-7, 9-7 SEC) in the final home on Saturday night inside the Hearnes Center.
Senior Kylie Deberg led the match with 22 kills on .327 hitting. The outside hitter added 10 digs to record her seventh double-double of the season. Sophomore Anna Dixon floored 18 kills to aid the Mizzou attack while sophomore Claudia Dillon gave the Tigers three in double figures with 11 kills.
Redshirt junior setter Andrea Fuentes, one of four Tigers playing in their final home match, dished out 50 assists for the third time this season. She also made the play of the night, diving to save a ball under the net to give Mizzou a 9-7 lead in the fifth set.

"That was an awesome night of volleyball. I was proud of how we battled with an A&M team that came out much tougher. Senior night is always tough with emotions being high, saying goodbye to those who gave so much of themselves to the program. Our four seniors all had great moments throughout the match and left the Hearnes Center on a high note!"

- Deberg eclipsed 15 kills for the 15th time this season. Her 22 kills mark the 10th time she has tallied 20 or more on the year.
- With her four service aces, Deberg moved into third all-time at Mizzou with 145 career aces.
- Senior Dariana Hollingsworth-Santana recorded nine kills and three blocks in her final home match as a Tiger.
- Dillon's 11 kills matched her career high for a fourth time while her six blocks marked a new career best.
