Tigers Set Program-High Team Score in Close Battle Against Florida

Tigers Score a 197.650
COLUMBIA, MO. – The No. 11 University of Missouri gymnastics team reached new program heights Friday night when they posted their best team score in Tiger history in their close-fought battle against No. 4 Florida 197.650-197.775. The Tigers smashed their previous team score record of 197.457 which dates back to 2004.

- In Mizzou's first rotation on vault, freshman Amari Celestine claimed the event with a standout 9.925.
- Junior Sienna Schreiber and senior Alisa Sheremeta led the second rotation of bars for Mizzou, both posting a 9.900.
- On beam, sophomore Sydney Schaffer and Sienna Schreiber matched to pace the Tigers with a 9.925.
- In Mizzou's final rotation on floor, the Tigers set a new team floor score of 49.600, .025 better than their previous record. Their score was anchored by senior Hannah McCrary and Celestine, both of who posted 9.950, tying for the highest individual score of the day.
- McCrary set a new personal best on floor with a 9.950, her pervious best was a 9.925.
- In the all-around Schreiber surpassed her personal best with a 39.550, her pervious best was 39.525 at NCAA Regionals in 2021.
