No. 17 Gymnastics Finishes Season with Quad Win

COLUMBIA, Mo. — The No. 14 University of Missouri gymnastics team outlasted Ball State, Southeast Missouri State, and North Carolina in a quad meet on Senior Night. The Tigers posted a 197.275 in the victory, putting the bow on a regular season that saw MU post a 10-3 record, including wins over five nationally ranked opponents.
Vault
The Tigers opened up the meet with a 48.950 team score on the vault. Senior Sienna Schreiber led Mizzou with a 9.850 score.
Sophomore Amari Celestine (9.825), sophomore Jocelyn Moore (9.800), graduate student Hannah McCrary (9.750), sophomore Grace Anne Davis (9.750) and freshman Addison Lawrence (9.700) also competed on the vault.
Bars
Leading off the second rotation for the Tigers, Celestine scored a 9.825. Schreiber followed with the highest rotation score for the team with a 9.95.
Senior Alisa Sheremeta (9.90), Moore (9.80), senior Helen Hu (9.80) and Kyra Burns (9.75) also competed in the rotation. The Tigers totaled a 49.275 for the rotation.
Beam
Hu and Lawrence led the beam rotation, each posting a near-perfect 9.975 to help propel the Tigers to 49.525 collectively in the event. Schreiber followed with a 9.925.
Davis (9.825), Sheremeta (9.825) and McCrary (9.800) also scored for the Tigers. Mizzou ended the third rotation with a team score of 49.525.
Floor
Schreiber opened up Mizzou's final rotation for the meet with a 9.90. McCrary and Sheremeta both scored a 9.90 for the Tigers, along with Celestine earning a near-perfect score and high score of 9.925.
Sophomore Alonna Kratzer (9.825) and Schaffer (9.85) also competed in the rotation. The team totaled a 49.475 for the last rotation.
