
Women's Basketball to Host Troy in CPS Field Trip Game

Mizzou women's basketball will take on Troy tomorrow at 11:30 a.m. at Mizzou Arena. The game will be broadcast on SECN+ and the Tiger Radio Network.
Missouri (4-1, 0-0 SEC) enters the contest following an 81-50 win over Southern Illinois on Tuesday.
Junior guard Shannon Dowell led the Tigers with 30 points and grabbed four boards.
Dowell has recorded double-digit points in 19-straight games dating back to last year at Illinois State. She is ranked seventh in the SEC with 17.8 points per game.
??Dowell was 10-of-10 at the free-throw line on Tuesday. For the first time in Mizzou program history, two Tigers have been perfect from the charity stripe with 10+ attempts in a single season after Grace Slaughter made 12-of-12 attempts against Tulane on Nov. 6.
Senior forward Jordana Reisma totaled 12 points on 5-of-7 shooting against the Salukies.
Junior guard Abbey Schreacke ranks fourth in the conference in 3-point percentage at 46.2 and is sixth with 2.4 makes per game.
As a team, Mizzou has assisted on 38-40 of its 3-point makes this season.
Junior guard Grace Slaughter added 10 points and is fifth in the SEC with an average of 18.0 per game. In October, she was named to the Cheryl Miller Small Forward of the Year Preseason Watch List.
Last week on National Signing Day, Missouri signed three top-100 recruits in Natalya Hodge (No. 54), Khloe Ford (No. 94) and Jada Maples (No. 95) in addition to Cecilie Brandimore and Ellie Mueller.
Mizzou leads the all-time series against Troy 2-0, their last meeting in 2021 resulting in a 76-63 win for the Tigers.
Troy is 3-1 to start the season after suffering its first loss of the season on Tuesday at Kansas State.
Head coach Chanda Rigby is in her 14th season at the helm of the Trojans.
High scorers for the Trojans include Fortuna Ngnawo and Zay Dyer, who have averaged 15.5 and 12.2 points per game this season, respectively.
The contest will mark Columbia Public School's annual field trip day as over 3,000 students from the Columbia area will be in attendance.
