
Titarsolej Notches Her Third 10 on Bars, Gymnastics Finishes Fourth at SEC Championship

The Tigers’ fourth-place finish ties its best result at the conference championship since joining the SEC.
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – No. 7 University of Missouri gymnastics finished fourth at the Southeastern Conference Championship with a score of 197.400, highlighted by a 10 on bars by Mara Titarsolej (Zutphen, Netherlands) on Saturday at Legacy Arena before 7,452 spectators.
The Tigers competed against No. 2 LSU (198.200), No. 1 Oklahoma (197.925) and No. 3 Florida (197.825) in Session II of the meet. Mizzou's score marked its best in a conference championship in program history.
SHOW STOPPERS
Graduate student Titarsolej captured her first perfect score of the 2025 season and third of her career in the team's final routine of the evening and was named SEC bars co-champion for her efforts. Helen Hu (Chicago, Ill.) claimed the SEC beam co-champion title after scoring 9.925 in the first rotation. Other podium finishers for Mizzou came from Jocelyn Moore (Hillsborough, N.J.) and Kennedy Griffin (Strongsville, Ohio), scoring 9.950 on floor to earn silver medals in the event.

Beam
-Mizzou opened the night on beam, totaling 49.125 on the apparatus with four scores of 9.800 or better.
-Redshirt senior Hu anchored the rotation and notched a 9.925 to earn the first conference event title of her career.
-Going fifth, freshman Olivia Kelly (Bronx, N.Y.) scored 9.850, the seventh time she's reached or exceeded the mark this season.
Floor
-The Tigers posted 49.600, the second-best score on the floor exercise at the championship meet.
-MU's mark was the highest of any team in the second rotation of Session II.
-Four Mizzou gymnasts scored at least 9.900.
-Moore and Griffin, who went fifth and sixth, respectively, each earned 9.950.
-Amari Celestine's (Wildomar, Calif.) 9.925 notched her second-consecutive meet with the mark on floor.
Vault
-Mizzou notched 49.100 on vault.
-Moore was the top scorer for the team, receiving 9.875 for her routine from the fifth position.
-Anchoring the rotation was Celestine, who earned 9.850.
Uneven Bars
-On bars, Missouri earned 49.575, tying for its second-best score in program history and best of the season.
-The mark was the best of the fourth rotation in the evening session of the SEC Championship.
-Every Tiger scored 9.850 or better for their efforts on the apparatus.
-Titarsolej's 10 made her the back-to-back SEC uneven bars champion.
-Graduate student Kyra Burns (Blue Springs, Mo.) opened the rotation for Mizzou scoring 9.900.
