FIRST SET (30-32, TCU leads 1-0)
- The Tigers fell back early, as the Horned Frogs started the match on a 4-1 run, and carried that to the first break, in which they led 15-10. TCU claimed the lead as it went into the timeout, hitting .588 for the set.
- Mizzou would tap into that lead, as a solo block from Alexander helped spur the Tigers into a 5-0 scoring run late in the set to give them a 20-19 lead.
- That lead would be alternated back-and-forth before the set went into extra points. TCU took advantage in the first as the next couple of sets would go past 25.
SECOND SET (32-30, Match tied 1-1)
- TCU once again took advantage early, with a 4-0 run to make it 11-6, before the Tigers took the first timeout of the set.
- From there, Mizzou would outscore the Horned Frogs 15-10 to put itself in a tie at 21-21. The Tigers would initially take the lead and have a chance to claim the set victory after an Ariail kill made it 25-24.
- With that score, we were once again destined for extra points, as the Tigers flipped the script and pulled it out with a 32-30 set win. Mizzou is now 2-2 in sets that end in the 30s.
THIRD SET (21-25, TCU leads 2-1)
- The set began similarly to the previous two, with the Horned Frogs taking the lead and extending it to 10-4 – the largest lead of the match.
- Just like the others, the lead dwindled as quickly as it was earned as the Tigers tied it at 12-12. Haith earned the 12th point for the Tigers as she found room on the back of the floor for a kill. Heading into the first break of the set, and after, TCU would hold the lead, as they used an eventual 3-0 run to make it 16-13.
- Mizzou would try to make a dent in the lead – winning four of six final points – but would remain behind for the rest of the set.
FOURTH SET (21-25, TCU wins 3-1)
- The Horned Frogs continued the trend, but in a less decisive way, as they led 4-1. While the Tigers would get it within one multiple times, TCU added to the total, making it 15-10 at the media timeout.
- Mizzou would further fall behind down the line, as it would go down by six at 22-16. The Tigers would fight back, scoring four of the next five after the timeout, but it seemed too late as TCU won the set and match.
