
Mizzou Golf Teams Heads to Arkansas for Blessings Collegiate

Mizzou men's and women's golf teams head to Fayetteville, Arkansas, to compete in the Blessings Collegiate Invitational on Monday, September 30. This will be the second time the Tigers participate in this event, and the sixth time Arkansas has hosted this tournament with a unique men's and women's format.
TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
The 2025 Blessings Collegiate Invitational is a three-day tournament, playing 18 holes each day. Both men's and women's teams will play the same course at the same time.
Six trophies are up for grabs at the tournament with a men's team, women's team, men's individual, women's individual, combined team champion and combined individual best-ball champion.
The 2025 field features teams from 10 different schools including Mizzou. The Tigers will compete alongside host Arkansas, BYU, Kansas State, Kent State, Louisville, Maryland, Mississippi State, UNCG and Washington State.
The par-72 course at Blessings Golf Club measures 7,737 yards in length for the men and 6,501 for the women. Individuals tee off at 7:45 a.m. with the Mizzou women starting at 9:30 a.m. and the Mizzou men beginning their tournament at 10:15 a.m.
LAST SEASON AT ARKANSAS
Both the Mizzou men's and women's teams placed ninth at last year's tournament. Virgilio Paz led the MU men by placing 20th overall, while the MU women were led by Ffion Tynan, who finished 15th.
STRONG STARTS
Two Tigers have gotten off to a strong start this season. Junior Veikka Viskari has notched two-straight top-15 finishes to start the season, including a career-best round of 66 in the final round of the Folds of Honor Collegiate.
On the women's side, freshman Ebba Liljeberg was named SEC Freshman of the Week following an individual title at the Sam Golden Invitational. She has posted back-to-back top-5 finishes to start the campaign, including an 11-under second round at the Sam Golden Invitational to tie the NCAA record relative-to-par.
Overall, the Tiger women have won their first two tournaments of the year – a first for the program since 1997.

The men's team will return to action at the Moraine Intercollegiate, hosted by Miami of Ohio, starting on October 20.
