
Volleyball Announces Spring Competition Slate

The Tigers will play in four events, including a home tournament at Hearnes on Saturday, April 25.
COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Mizzou volleyball program is set for four spring events, including one tournament at home in Hearnes Center, head coach Dawn Sullivan announced on Wednesday, Feb. 25.
The Tigers get their first taste of spring competition against Illinois at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, at the Beal Center in Chesterfield, Mo. This matchup is the lone solo match, as the three remaining events on the schedule are tournaments.
In the first tournament of the spring slate, MU heads to Kansas City, Mo. for the Kansas City Tournament. This will be an all-day tournament on Saturday, April 11 at the Swinney Recreation Center on the campus of University of Missouri-Kansas City. Opponents and schedule will be announced at a later date.
Mizzou will continue to play close to the area, as it takes on a pair of former conference rivals, with matches against Iowa State and Kansas at 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m., respectively, on April 19 at the Horejsi Family Volleyball Arena in Lawrence, Kan.
The Tigers round out the spring schedule with a home tournament, as they welcome SIUE, Kansas City and Saint Louis on Saturday, April 25. Over the course of that day, Mizzou takes on SIUE at 10 a.m., Kansas City at 11 a.m. and Saint Louis at 1 p.m. at Hearnes Center.
