COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou women's basketball closes the 2025-26 regular season against No. 7 Oklahoma at 3 p.m. on Sunday at Mizzou Arena. The contest will be broadcast on SEC Network+ and the Tiger Radio Network.
The game will mark senior night for Mizzou as graduating athletes Saniah Tyler, Jayla Smith and Jordana Reisma will be honored in a pregame ceremony.
Mizzou (16-14, 4-11 SEC) enters the contest following a loss to No. 3 South Carolina on Thursday.
Mizzou totaled 31 points in the third quarter of the contest which marked the most points South Carolina has surrendered in a frame since Dec. 2, 2018, when the Gamecocks gave up 32 first-quarter points in a loss to Baylor.
Junior guard Grace Slaughter led Mizzou with 21 points. The scoring total moved Slaughter from 16th to 13th on the program's all-time scoring list as the junior passed Morgan Eye (2011-15), Kesha Bonds (1995-99) and Ericka Fields (1988-92) on her climb up the leaderboard.
Three other Tigers scored in double figures against the Gamecocks as Smith (16), junior guard Shannon Dowell (11) and junior guard Abbey Schreacke (10) contributed to the offensive effort.
Slaughter is 30th in the country and fifth in the SEC with 19.0 points this season. The junior has played 40 or more minutes in three contests and is 21st in the country and second in the SEC with 35.75 minutes per game this year.
Slaughter needs just five points shy of passing Sophie Cunningham for the 10th most points scored in a single season.
As a result of her play, Slaughter was named to the Cheryl Miller Award Small Forward of the Year Mid-Season Watch List on Feb. 4.
On the season, Mizzou is ranked 25th in the country and fifth in the SEC in 3-point percentage at 35.6%.
Missouri is 21st nationally and third in the SEC with 8.7 makes from beyond the arc per game.
Mizzou ranks 12th in the country and first in the SEC in free-throw percentage at 78.5%.
Opposite the offensive end, Mizzou is 29th in the country and fourth in the league in defensive rebounding with 28.3 per game.
Schreacke was named to the SEC Community Service Team for the second consecutive year on Wednesday.
Oklahoma enters Sunday at 22-6 including a 10-5 mark in SEC play, following a win over Arkansas on Thursday.
Head coach Jennie Baranczyk is in her fifth season at the helm of the program with a 123-40 record. In her 14-year head coaching career, Baranczyk has a 315-136 record.
Oklahoma's roster is headlined by freshman guard Aaliyah Chavez and senior center Regan Beers who average 18.5 points and 15.9 points per game, respectively.
Sunday will mark the 62nd game between the teams. Oklahoma leads the all-time series 32-29, but the Tigers hold a 13-11 advantage in Columbia.
