
Women's Basketball Seeks Third-Straight Win at Arkansas

Mizzou women's basketball seeks its third-straight win in a matchup against Arkansas at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday in Bud Walton Arena. The contest will be broadcast on SEC Network+ and the Tiger Radio Network.
Missouri enters the conference showdown following an 88-80 victory over Mississippi State on Sunday.
Junior guard Shannon Dowell led Mizzou with 21 points against Mississippi State. The performance marked her seventh outing of 20 or more this season.
Junior guard Grace Slaughter posted 18 points against the Bulldogs and currently ranks 24th in the country and fifth in the SEC with 19.3 points per game this season. The junior is also 10th in the country and second in the SEC with 36.0 minutes per game this year.
On the season, Mizzou is ranked eighth in the country and first in the SEC in 3-point percentage at 37.8 percent. The Tigers are 23rd nationally and fourth in the SEC with 8.8 makes from beyond the arc per game.
Individually, junior guard Abbey Schreacke (39.2%) and sophomore guard Chloe Sotell (38.6%) are seventh and eighth, respectively, in the conference in 3-point percentage.
The Tigers rank sixth in the country and first in the SEC in free-throw percentage at 79.6 percent.
Dowell (105) and Slaughter (92) are second and fourth, respectively, in the conference in free throws made.
In the last 10 contests, Mizzou has assisted on 30.3% of its 2-point makes, which ranks 10th in the country.
On the defensive end, Missouri is 26th in the country and fifth in the league in defensive rebounding with 28.9 per game.
Arkansas enters Thursday at 11-11, including a 0-7 mark in SEC play, following a loss to No. 16 Kentucky on Sunday.
Head coach Kelsi Musick is in her first season on the sidelines in Fayetteville. In her 17-year collegiate career, Musick is 327-175 all-time.
Musick came to Arkansas in the offseason after three seasons at Oral Roberts.
Arkansas' roster is headlined by senior guard Taleyah Jones, who averages 16.9 points per game. Jones spent two seasons at Oral Roberts with Musick.
The teams faced off previously this season, where Missouri routed the Razorbacks 94-69 on January 15th. Senior forward Jordana Reisma led the Tigers with 21 points in the first meeting, while Jones scored 22 for the Razorbacks.
Thursday will mark the 28th meeting between the programs, Arkansas leads the all-time series 23-18, including an 11-5 mark in Fayetteville.
