COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou baseball senior infielder Keegan Knutson was named to the 2026 SEC Baseball Community Service Team, the Southeastern Conference announced on Tuesday.
Knutson logged 38 community service hours this year, making consistent appearances at the University of Missouri Children's Hospital. In addition to hospital visits, Knutson volunteered with the Central Missouri Humane Society, the Food Bank of Central and North Missouri, The Bluffs Assisted Living Community and participated in the Adopt-A-Family program during the holiday season.
"There is not a more selfless, dedicated and community-service oriented person that I have ever been around than Keegan," head coach Kerrick Jackson said. "I could not be more proud of him for the way he represents our program and university."
Knutson, a two-year member of the Tigers, has played in 79 games and made 69 starts over the past two seasons, serving as a key utility piece and making starts at multiple infield positions. The senior has knocked in 11 runs with five doubles and a home run this season, scoring a dozen runs. He slugged a key three-run home run in the seventh inning of Mizzou's series-opening win at No. 22 Tennessee on March 20.
