Mark Mitchell is the latest player from the Mizzou men's basketball team to sign with an NBA franchise, inking a deal with the Denver Nuggets on Thursday.
A two-time All-SEC honoree, Mitchell led the Tigers with 18.3 points, 5.2 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game during the 2025-26 season, becoming just the second player in school history to lead Mizzou in all three statistics. Overall, he was one of eight players nationally to total 600 points, 170 rebounds and 110 assists, while his 18.3 points per game are the most by a Tiger in 12 years.
In two seasons at Mizzou, Mitchell totaled 1,064 points (16.1 per game), 325 rebounds, 183 assists, 54 steals and 31 blocks. He is one of two Tigers to earn All-SEC honors twice during the school's 14 years in the conference, joining Kobe Brown.
Mitchell is the sixth Tiger to sign directly with an NBA franchise in four years under Whitten Family Head Coach Dennis Gates, joining Brown, D'Moi Hodge, Sean East II, Tamar Bates and Caleb Grill.
