The Mizzou men's basketball team learned its SEC opponents on Thursday with the Tigers set to welcome five NCAA Tournament teams to Mizzou Arena during the 2026-27 campaign.
Featured in Mizzou's 18-game league slate are three home-and-home series – two against permanent rivals in Arkansas and Oklahoma and a third with Tennessee. The Tigers are also slated to host Alabama, Kentucky, LSU, Ole Miss, South Carolina and Texas A&M, while traveling to face Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi State, Texas and Vanderbilt.
The full schedule – including dates, times and television assignments – will be announced by the conference at a later date.
Competing in the nation's top conference, the Tigers have won double-digit SEC games in each of the last two seasons. The conference has collected at least 10 NCAA Tournament bids in each of the last two years – only the second and third times in tournament history one conference had double-digit bids – with a record 14 invitations in 2025.
Mizzou is set to welcome the nation's seventh-ranked freshman class and the country's 14th-ranked transfer class to Columbia next season in addition to six returning players from the 2025-26 campaign.
