Started five games and made seven total appearances on the mound during his true freshman season with the Tigers … Posted a record of 2-1 with a season ERA of 4.18 over 23.2 innings pitched … Struck out 20 and walked 15 while opponents hit just .214 against him … Made his collegiate debut with a start on the mound at Florida Atlantic and allowed just one earned run (two total) on five hits and three walks with five strikeouts over 5.0 innings, not factoring into the decision (2/17) … Threw a season-high six one-hit innings versus Arkansas-Pine Bluff in his second start, allowing just one run and striking out five to earn his first collegiate win (2/24) … Threw 4.2 innings of relief at No. 22 Tennessee to earn his second career win, allowing three runs on five hits and three walks while striking out five to help the Tigers earn an SEC road victory over the Vols (3/20) … Missed second half of season due to injury.
