Lawrence's 17 points was the most for a Mizzou freshman since Jason Horton scored 17 against Texas A&M on 2-5-05 Leo Lyons narrowly missed recording his first career double-double with 9 points and 10 rebounds. Missouri continued to show balanced scoring. Although Matt Lawrence and Kalen Grimes entered the game scoring a combined 29.4 points, the two combined for only 10 points the entire game. Keon Lawrence, Brown, Butterfield and Hannah each picked up the slack and all scored in double-figures.
