Mizzou improved to 29-4 overall with the victory and a perfect 4-0 in Big 12 Championship semifinals.
The Tigers are 1-3 all-time in the Big 12 Championship game.
Senior Kim English tied the Big 12 Championship single-game field goal percentage record of 90.0 percent (9-of-10). His outing ties Colorado's Julius Ashby 9-of-10 night agianst Oklahoma State on March 11, 2005.
In two games in the Big 12 Championship, English is shooting 87.0 percent (20-of-23) from the floor.
Sophomore Phil Pressey scored a career high 23 points on 7-of-12 shooting from the floor. His five 3-pointers also set a new personal best.
English scored 23 points on the night and is averaging 25.0 ppg. in the Big 12 Championship.
In three games against Texas this season, Pressey averaged 18.0 ppg., compared to 9.1 ppg. against all other teams.
Senior Ricardo Ratliffe notched his eighth double-double of the year with 18 points and 14 rebounds. He has pulled down at least 12 rebounds in four of the last six games.
Mizzou defeated Texas for the third time this season, which marks the first time ever Mizzou has beaten the Longhorns three times in a year.
The Tigers made 10 3-pointers in the contest to mark the 12th time this season the team made at least 10.
Mizzou shot 52.6 percent from the floor to mark the fourth time in four games this season the team has shot over 50 percent at the Sprint Center.
Ratliffe was credited with three blocks on the night to move into 10th place on MU's all-time blocks list with 79.
Pressey upped his single-season assists record to 207. He is only eight assists away from entering Mizzou's top-10 in less than two seasons in a Tiger uniform.
