COLUMBIA, Mo. – No. 9 Mizzou Volleyball makes its long-awaited home debut Wednesday/Thursday for a Top 10 Southeastern Conference showdown against No. 3 Kentucky. First serve each night inside the Hearnes Center is slated for 8 p.m. CT.

Both contests will broadcast live on ESPNU with Sam Gore and Jenn Hoffman on the call. Fans can also watch online through SEC Network + via WatchESPN.

Mizzou trails in the all-time series, 9-5.
The Tigers and Wildcats met twice a season ago (Sept. 29, 2019 // Nov. 20, 2019) with Kentucky earning sweeps in each match.
Kentucky enters this week's matchups riding a five-match winning streak in the all-time series. Mizzou's last triumph was four years ago (Nov. 6, 2016), as it swept the Wildcats in Lexington.
Two of the Tigers' five all-time wins against Kentucky have occurred in Mid-Missouri (Oct. 23, 2016 // Nov. 3, 2013).

Mizzou Sweeps Week Two SEC Players of the Week Awards

The Tigers swept the SEC Week Two Volleyball Players of the Week awards, announced Monday. It marked only the second time in SEC history that a single program claimed all five weekly awards, as Kentucky first accomplished the feat on Nov. 14, 2016.
Senior OH Kylie Deberg was named the Overall and Offensive Player of the Week, senior MB Tyanna Omazic took home the Defensive Player of the Week award, redshirt junior S Andrea Fuentes was tabbed the Setter of the Week and first-year DS Emily Brown tallied Freshman of the Week accolades.
It marked Mizzou's 53rd, 54th, 55th, 56th and 57th all-time weekly SEC Player of the Week honors. Individually, Fuentes has now earned 12 all-time weekly SEC awards and Deberg has produced nine all-time honors. Monday stands as Omazic and Brown's first career weekly SEC recognition.
Specifically, Fuentes earned her sixth career SEC Setter of the Week award, while Deberg was named the Overall SEC Player of the Week for the third time and Offensive Player of the Week for the sixth time.

No. 9 Tigers Sweep Season-Opening Series at Alabama

Following a 319-day layoff from their last match, the Tigers returned to action Oct. 21-22 at Alabama in their fall 2020 opener. Mizzou produced wins both nights inside Foster Auditorium, highlighted by a dominating sweep in the finale.
Across the two-match series, the Tigers tallied 92 kills (13.14 per set) on .323 hitting and 19.0 total blocks (2.71 per set). Deberg stole the show offensively, posting 31 kills (4.43 per set) on a phenomenal .391 hitting clip.
Newcomer sophomore OH Anna Dixon shined in her Mizzou debut, tallying 20 total kills. Returning AVCA Southeast All-Region honoree, Omazic, was fantastic on both sides of the ball, earning 14 kills on .333 killing and 11 total blocks (1.57 per set).
Fuentes coordinated the Tigers' offense, as she recorded 73 total assists (10.43 per set). Mizzou improved to 13-3 historically against Alabama and have won nine consecutive matchups in the all-time series.
