Tigers rack up 10 aces, nine blocks in dominant sweep
COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Volleyball (12-7, 12-7 SEC) stormed past Texas A&M (9-6, 9-6 SEC) in a 3-0 sweep (25-14, 25-14, 25-19) on Friday night inside the Hearnes Center. The Tigers stifled the Aggies to a .104 hitting percentage, marking a season-best defensive performance.
Mizzou rode a strong service game to 10 aces, the second-most on the season. Senior Kylie Deberg led the way with five aces and fellow senior Dariana Hollingsworth-Santana added a season-best three aces. The 10 aces are the most for the Tigers in a three-set match since October 25, 2019.
The Tigers produced a handful of big runs, including a 12-2 stretch in the first and an 11-2 run in the second to seize control. Mizzou also produced a spring-high nine blocks in the sweep. Redshirt junior Anna D'Cruz sent back a career-best five blocks to lead the Tigers.

- Sophomore Anna Dixon recorded seven kills and added three blocks and three digs.

- Mizzou snapped a three-match losing streak. The Tigers have not lost four in-a-row since 2008.
- The Tigers won their seventh-consecutive home match. It was the fourth-straight win over Texas A&M in Columbia.
