Tigers Opens the Season at Home

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The University of Missouri Gymnastics team begins its 2022 campaign hosting a tri-meet on Friday, Jan. 1 at 7 p.m inside Hearnes Center.

The meet will feature Ball State and Illinois State. Southwest Missouri will not compete like initially scheduled due to COVID-19 protocol. This meet will air on.

SERIES SNAPSHOT

Mizzou leads the all-time series against Ball St. 6-4. The last time these two sides met was in 2017, with Mizzou taking the match.
In the all-time series against Illinois St., the Tigers led 18-4. The last time the two sides met was in 2014, with Mizzou winning the meet.

MIZZOU NOTABLES

This season marks the third-consecutive year the Tigers have been ranked 16 in the Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association going into the season. This also marks the sixth-consecutive season, Mizzou was selected in the top 20.
After earning its highest-ever Southeastern Conference Championship score, the Tigers look to continue their success.
Junior Hellen Hu returns to the lineup for the Tigers. She missed last season due to an injury.
The freshman class represents the nation's fourth-ranked recruiting class.
