Mizzou women's basketball will face Southern Illinois at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Mizzou Arena. The game will be broadcast on SEC Network+ and the Tiger Radio Network.
The Tigers are coming off a narrow 82-77 loss against Kansas on Sunday night.
Junior guard Shannon Dowell led the effort with 18 points and six rebounds.
Dowell is seventh in the SEC in rebounds with 9.3 per contest.
The junior will be honored pregame after she recorded her 1,000-career point with a bucket in the fourth quarter against Tulane on November 6th.
Junior guard Grace Slaughter contributed 16 points and seven rebounds against the Jayhawks.
Slaughter ranks third in the SEC for points with an average of 20.0 per game. In October, she was named to the Cheryl Miller Small Forward of the Year Preseason Watch List.
Senior forward Jordana Resima added 14 points against Kansas on a perfect six-of-six shooting from the floor.
The outing marked the fourth time in her career that she has made 100 percent of her shots from the floor with five or more attempts.
Last week on National Signing Day, Missouri signed three top-100 recruits in Natalya Hodge (No. 54), Khloe Ford (No. 94) and Jada Maples (No. 95) in addition to Cecilie Brandimore and Ellie Mueller.
Tuesday will mark the 16th meeting between the programs as Mizzou leads the all-time series 9-5.
Southern Illinois is 1-1 to start the season and is coming off a loss against Purdue Fort Wayne on Saturday.
The Salukis are led by head coach Kelly Bond-White, who is in her fourth season at the helm.
Sophomore guard Alayna Kraus and junior guard Kayla Cooper headline Southern Illinois' roster, averaging 16.0 and 13.5 per game this season, respectively.
