
Women's Basketball Travels to Compete in Fort Myers Tip-Off

Mizzou women's basketball will face Bradley and Northwestern at 12:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, respectively, in the Ft. Myers Tip-Off in Fort Myers, Florida.
Mizzou is coming off a victory over Washington State in the WBCA Showcase on Sunday.
Junior guard Shannon Dowell recorded her third double-double of the season and led Mizzou with 20 points and 10 boards against the Cougars.
Relying on a collective offensive effort, four Tigers scored in double figures for the fifth time this season.
Dowell and junior guard Grace Slaughter rank fourth and eighth, respectively, in the SEC with 19.1 and 17.7 points per game this season.
In October, Slaughter was named to the Cheryl Miller Small Forward of the Year Preseason Watch List.
As a team, Mizzou is fourth in the conference in 3-point percentage at 39.3 and fifth in field goal percentage at 48.4.
The Tigers have assisted on 55-57 of their 3-point makes this season.
On National Signing Day, Missouri signed three top-100 recruits in Natalya Hodge (No. 54), Khloe Ford (No. 94) and Jada Maples (No. 95) in addition to Cecilie Brandimore and Ellie Mueller.
Bradley enters the tip off at 3-2 following a victory over Bellarmine on Sunday.
The Braves are coached by Kate Popovec-Goss who is in her fourth season on the sidelines. Popovec-Goss coached the program to the Missouri Valley Tournament championship game a season ago.
Bradley's roster is headlined by fifth-year player Kaylen Nelson who averages 19.6 points per game.
Northwestern enters the Feast Week at 5-0 following a win over Cleveland State on Friday.
The Wildcats are coached by Joe McKeown who has spent 40 seasons on the sidelines, including 18 years with Northwestern.
The Wildcats are led by senior guard Grace Sullivan who averages 21.0 points per game.
