COLUMBIA, Mo. - The University of Missouri women's tennis team won its ninth dual of the season Saturday, defeating Southeast Missouri 6-0 at the MU Outdoor Complex. The Tigers won all five singles matches and both doubles matches.
"Four of their top six players were injured, which made things disastrous for them," said Missouri head coach Blake Starkey. "Southeast Missouri fought hard but we were just too deep for them. This match allowed us to play a few people who typically haven't seen much action.
The Tigers are now 9-3 this season in dual play.
Missouri meets Kansas Wednesday and 11 a.m. and Colorado (3/17) in Big 12 Conference action.
