Tennis Falls in Regular Season Finale at No. 17 Florida

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Mizzou tennis ended its regular season in Gainesville, Florida, with a 4-0 loss against Southeastern Conference opponent No. 17 Florida.

In doubles, sophomore Korina Roso and senior Andrea Artimedi had a dominant 6-2 victory for the Tigers on court two. Despite the win, Florida secured the doubles point as freshman Lara Quaglia and sophomore Gian Octa were defeated 6-2 on court one by the No. 19-ranked doubles pairing, and freshman Alex Ackman and sophomore Zoe Lazar fell 6-1 on court three.

Florida earned three singles points to seal the match. Octa, Roso, Artimedi, and Quaglia all faced ranked opponents, dropping their respective matches. Roso kept No. 67 Valery Gynina to a close 6-7 score in set one when her match went unfinished alongside Artimedi's and Lazar's.
