
Mizzou Men’s Golf Heads East for the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate

Ross Steelman leads the Tiger lineup
AWENDAW, SC. – Mizzou Men's Golf continues their spring campaign out east in Awendaw, South Carolina to play in the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate. The squad will take part in the competitive 3-day event featuring 54-hole stroke tournament play.
WHERE: The event will take place at the nationally renowned Bulls Bay Golf Course (Par-72, 7,220 yards) in Awendaw, SC.
WHEN: The Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate kicks-off on Sunday, March 28 and finishes up on Tuesday, March 30.

INDIVIDUAL: Viktor Einarsson
Redshirt sophomore Ross Steelman (Columbia, Mo.) headlines the lineup this week after boosting his streak to six consecutive events of carding at least one round or more under-par. He continues to lead the team in season stroke average as well with a 71.06.
Slotted second is graduate student Rory Franssen (Inverness, Scotland). He posted one of his career-best performances at this event during his junior 2019 spring season, finishing in second place with a 10-under 206 including all three rounds under-par.
After posting his season-best 54-hole event score of an 8-over 224 at the Auburn Tiger Invitational, graduate student Walker Kesterson (Ashland, Mo.) secures the third spot heading into this weekend.
Making his spring team lineup debut is junior Tommy Boone (Plano, Texas). Boone has been featured in the last three events as an individual with the latest one featuring his fifth career round under-par, a 2-under 70 in the second round of the Auburn Tiger Invitational.
Capping off the team is sophomore Yu-Ta Tsai (Taipei, Taiwan) who finished first on the team at the Auburn Tiger Invitational for the first time in his career.
Finally, after his season debut last week, sophomore Viktor Einarsson (Reykjavik, Iceland) returns to compete as an individual.
