Soccer Travels to Nashville to Face Vandy

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Soccer (4-6, 0-3) will take on Vanderbilt (4-5-2, 1-1-1) on Friday night in Nashville. The Tigers will look to pick up their first SEC win of the season against a divisional rival. The match will kick off at 7 p.m. CT and stream on SECN+.
The Tigers lead 6-3-2 in the all-time series over Vandy. A year ago, Missouri defeated then-No. 13 Vanderbilt 2-1. Cassidy Nurnberger's 61st minute goal proved to be the winner for the Tigers. McKenna Sheehan made her first career start in the match and earned the victory.
Freshman Milena Fischer has been involved in 10 of Mizzou's last 13 goals. She is one of two SEC Freshmen that have scored 15 or more points on the season. She has recorded a pair of braces on the year against Notre Dame and BYU.
Freshman center back Ashlyn Mills leads the Tigers with 912 minutes over 10 matches, averaging over 91 minutes per match. She has missed only 12 minutes of action all season.
Cassidy Nurnberger, Blythe Beldner, Julissa Cisneros, and Momola Adesanmi have each started all ten matches for the Tigers. The group combines for 199 starts over their careers.

Missouri is 4-0 when firing 14 or more shots in a contest.
On the season, the Tigers have been caught offside only 11 times, while Mizzou's opponents have been offside 57 times.
