SHOWSTOPPERS
A trio of Tigers captured event titles on bars, vault and floor.
Freshman Kimarra Echols (Henderson, Nev.) tied her career-high 9.950 to earn a share of her second uneven bars title. On vault, Elise Tisler (Fairfax Station, Va.) posted a Mizzou-best 9.900 to claim her first title on the apparatus as a Tiger. Hannah Horton (Brooklyn Park, Minn.) matched her career-best 9.950 to share the floor exercise crown.
"We're proud to get the first win here, but we know we left points out there tonight," said head coach Shannon Welker. "The standard doesn't change just because you win. We'll enjoy it briefly, then get back to work."
