• Mark Mitchell and his all-around game has been on display throughout the season.
• Mitchell is just one of nine players in the nation to have totaled 450 points, 140 rebounds and 100 assists during the 2025-26 campaign.
• Mitchell is also aiming to be the first Tiger to tally 17 points, five boards and three assists since Big Eight Player of the Year Anthony Peeler during the 1991-92 season.
LENDING A HELPING HAND
• Most impressive about Mark Mitchell and his versatility this season comes from his assists.
• Mitchell leads Mizzou with 3.8 assists per game – double his previous career high (1.9 last year).
• In SEC play, Mitchell ranks fifth in the league with 4.6 assists per game and first with an assist-to-turnover ratio of 3.42.
• Mitchell's passing has become more of a weapon as of late – recording at least eight assists in three of the last four games (never had eight assists in his first 123 games previously).
• Additionally, of his 65 assists against SEC schools, 34 have resulted in a 3-pointer (52.3 percent).
STARTING ROLE
• After time with an injury to start the year, Trent Pierce has found his groove as of late.
• Pierce has started the last six games and played at least 30 minutes in all six contests.
• During the span, he is averaging 14.3 points – shooting 56.7 percent overall and 41.4 percent from 3-point range.
• The junior has tallied at least 20 points in two of the last four games – he tallied 20 once in his first 64 career games.
BURNING LOVE
• Another player that has taken advantage of increased minutes as of late is Trent Burns.
• The redshirt freshman has totaled 31 minutes in the last two games – he played 30 minutes in the first 11 SEC games of the season.
• In the last two games, Burns has totaled nine points, seven rebounds and three blocks.
• He collected a career-best seven boards in the win over No. 19 Vanderbilt, while adding six points at No. 20 Arkansas – one shy of his career high.
