Alex Ackman is a freshman talent hailing from Stuart, Florida. She joined the Tigers as a five-star recruit and No. 59 ranked player in the country. So far on the season, she is 9-4 in singles play and 6-7 in doubles.

- What has been the best part so far about choosing Mizzou?
- "The best part about choosing Mizzou so far has been being able to play against SEC competition and just the teammates and the people I've met here."
- After being a USTA National Level 2 Tournament Singles Champion, how can you translate this success on the court here?
- "Playing and being able to win some high-level tournaments in the Juniors gave me some experience in playing high-level competition that I'm going to be seeing in the SEC."
- How has the atmosphere been so far, moving from Florida to Missouri?
- "From Florida to Missouri has definitely been an adjustment, but I found that Missouri has a lot of good qualities that I didn't think they'd have."
- How was balancing online school integral to working on your tennis career?
- "Online school in high school and middle school definitely helped me in tennis because I was able to spend a lot more time on the court, and I was able to work ahead on my academics."
- What is your favorite thing about Florida, and why?
- My favorite thing about Florida is definitely the weather, and my family is there."
