COLUMBIA, Mo. -- The University of Missouri women's tennis team suffered its seventh dual loss in Big 12 Conference action Sunday, falling 7-0 to Texas A&M. The Aggies, who are ranked 12 in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) poll. Kristina Olshankaya (So., Los Angeles) was the lone Tiger to win a set.
"I'm very disappointed we lost 7-0 at home," said MU head coach Blake Starkey. "Texas A&M is very good but we didn't play as well as we could have today. And that's tough to take since we played well against (44th-ranked) Kansas State Saturday."
The Tigers, who are 12-7 overall and 2-7 in the Big 12 Conference, play Saint Louis University at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at the MU Outdoor Tennis Complex.
