• The key to the Tigers ranking among the nation's best shooters is their consistency
• Mizzou has eclipsed 50 percent shooting in all four of its games in 2025-26 – its longest streak to start a season since beginning the 1982-83 campaign with a seven-game run.
• Overall, MU is one of just 11 schools (of 365) to shoot at least 50 percent in every game this year.
50 PERCENT OR BETTER
• As Mizzou continues to make 50 percent of its field goals, it continues to pile up the wins.
• The 50 percent mark is almost a guaranteed win for the Tigers as MU is now 34-1 under Coach Gates when hitting the mark, including 16-0 since the start of the 2024-25 season.
MARK MITCHELL SHINES EARLY
• Mark Mitchell has led the charge for Mizzou and has started the season on an elite level.
• Mitchell has averaged a team-best 20.0 points, shooting 65.9 percent from the field.
• The senior led the team in scoring in each of the last three games, eclipsing 20 points twice.
• Overall, Mitchell is the first Tiger to average at least 20.0 points through the season's first four games since DeMarre Carroll in 2008-09.

• Mark Mitchell is more than just a scorer and has showcased his all-around game in 2025-26.
• Mitchell also leads the Tigers with 6.8 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game.
• In fact, he is one of just six players in the nation averaging 20.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists, while shooting 60.0 percent from the field.
3-POINT WEAPONS
• Behind the team's top-20 3-point shooting team are a number of weapons beyond the arc.
• Four Tigers are currently shooting 40-plus percent from 3-point range – Anthony Robinson II (66.7), Luke Northweather (60.0), Jacob Crews (56.3) and Jayden Stone (41.2.)
• The Tigers are one of just six teams nationally with four players making at least 1.5 triples per game and shooting 40-plus percent.
LEAVE NO STONE UNTURNED
• After missing more than a year of action due to injury, Jayden Stone has not disappointed in his first three games as a Tiger.
• Stone ranks second on Mizzou with 14.0 points, scoring at least 13 in all four games.
• The graduate transfer is the first Mizzou player to score in double figures in his first three games as a Tiger since Ronnie DeGray did so in 2021-22.
