
Tennis Heads to DePaul for Midweek Match

Tennis travels to Chicago on Tuesday, Feb. 24, for a matchup at DePaul beginning at noon CT.
The Black and Gold are coming off a Sunday feature in Nashville, where they earned a 5-0 win against Tennessee State and faced their first Southeastern Conference opponent, Vanderbilt, where they fell 6-1. Senior Andrea Artimedi showcased a strong performance against the Commodores, earning Mizzou's only point in a tiebreaker third set. Freshman Lara Quaglia and sophomore Zoe Lazar dominated against Tennessee State, winning their doubles match 6-2 and each earning a 6-0, 6-0 singles victory.
For the Tuesday match, the Tigers face DePaul for the first time in 34 years, dating back to March 19, 1991, when the Blue Devils recorded a 9-0 win. DPU is 5-5 this season, most recently dropping a match to Northwestern, 6-1.
UP NEXT
Missouri returns home on Friday, Feb. 27, for an SEC matchup against No. 10 Texas. The Tigers then have a home doubleheader on Sunday, March 1, where they will face conference foe No. 5 Texas A&M and Lindenwood.
