Mizzou tennis dropped a road match at Kentucky, 4-1, on Friday, March 27.

New doubles pairing, sophomores Zoe Lazar and Korina Roso, defeated their Wildcat opponents in doubles 6-2. Despite the win, the Tigers were unable to secure the doubles point. Sophomore Gian Octa and freshman Lara Quaglia were defeated 6-0 on court one, while freshman Alex Ackman and senior Andrea Artimedi fell after a 6-3 fight on court three.

The highlight of the match for the Tigers came from Octa in the No. 1 spot, earning a win over Zoe Hammond in straight sets. The win marks her first No. 1 singles victory in her career. Mizzou battled but was unable to come out on top, dropping in straight sets at No. 2, No. 3 and No. 4.
