
Tennis Prepped for Weekend Matchups Against Kentucky and No. 12 Tennessee

Mizzou tennis continues its Southeastern Conference road stint this weekend, starting in Lexington, Kentucky, on Friday, March 27, as they take on Kentucky at 5 p.m. CT. The Tigers then head to Knoxville, Tennessee, to take on No. 12 Tennessee on Sunday, March 29, at 10 a.m. CT.
MU is coming off a 4-1 road loss against No. 19 Ole Miss. Freshman Alex Ackman earned the sole point for the Black and Gold, taking her first set 6-1 and then clinching the match as her opponent retired.
The Tigers are 1-11 against the Wildcats, most recently losing 4-0 on April 13, 2025. Against the Volunteers, Mizzou is 2-11 with their most recent match on April 11, 2025, losing by a score of 4-1.
Both Kentucky and Tennessee return to their respective homes after spending last week in the Lone Star State. The Wildcats are 0-2 against Texas A&M (6-1) and Texas (4-2) last weekend. Tennessee earned a most recent 4-2 win over the Longhorns and lost 4-2 against the Aggies.
UP NEXT
Mizzou returns to Columbia for a home doubleheader on Thursday, April 2. The Tigers will take on SEC opponent Arkansas at 11:30 a.m. CT before playing SEMO at 4 p.m. CT.
