
Three-Match Home Slate and Senior Day Ahead for Tennis

COLUMBIA, Mo. - Mizzou tennis features a Thursday doubleheader against Southeastern opponent Arkansas at 11:30 a.m. CT, followed by SEMO at 4 p.m. CT on Saturday, April 4. The Tigers then welcome No. 8 Oklahoma to Columbia at noon CT for their final home match of the season.
Saturday's match against the Sooners will serve as Senior Day as the Tigers honor Andrea Artimedi. The seniors' recognition will begin prior to the match.
The Tigers are coming off a pair of road losses against Kentucky and No. 12 Tennessee. Sophomore Gian Octa had a standout performance against the Wildcats, earning her first career No. 1 singles win. For doubles, sophomores Zoe Lazar and Korina Roso won their doubles match against Kentucky, 6-2.
Historically, MU is 3-18 against the Razorbacks, and most recently lost 4-1 at Arkansas on March 9, 2025. Against SEMO, Mizzou is 19-3, winning its most recent match 6-1 on January 31, 2026.
For Saturday's match against No. 8 Oklahoma, the Tigers hold a 2-32 record against the Sooners. They last matched up on March 7, 2025, when the Black and Gold lost 4-0 in Norman, Oklahoma.
Arkansas is coming off a 4-1 win against SEC opponent South Carolina, whereas the RedHawks most recently recorded a 6-1 win against Southern Indiana. The Sooners earned a strong home win against No. 1 Georgia on March 29, 2026, clinching a 4-1 victory.
UP NEXT
The Tigers head to Auburn, Alabama, on Friday, April 10, to take on No. 4 Auburn at 5 p.m. CT, before heading to Gainesville, Florida, to take on No. 16 Florida on Sunday, April 12, at 1 p.m. CT.
