
Tennis Hits the Road For Matches at Florida and Auburn

COLUMBIA, Mo. - University of Missouri tennis heads to Gainesville, Florida, to face No. 22 Florida on Friday, March 21 at 5:00 p.m. CT. The Tigers then travel to Auburn, Alabama, to compete against No. 8 Auburn at noon CT on Sunday, March 9.
No. 22 Florida is 6-6 overall and 3-4 in Southeastern Conference action, winning its last two matches against Mississippi State on Friday, March 14, 4-0, and No. 21 Alabama on Sunday, March 16, 4-3.
The Gators will face Morgan State University on Thursday, March 20 in Gainesville before hosting the Tigers.
Auburn is 15-4 overall and 4-3 in SEC play. The Auburn Tigers will be hosting the Mizzou Tigers, winning their past two matches. On Friday, March 14, the Tigers beat No. 21 Alabama 4-3. They then went to Starkville, Mississippi where they defeated Mississippi State 4-0 on Sunday, March 16.
Before hosting Missouri, they will face Vanderbilt at home on Friday, March 21.
Heading back on the road this weekend, the Tigers are 10-7 overall and 1-6 in conference play. They fought hard this past weekend but fell short, losing to No. 2 Texas A&M on Friday, March 14, 4-0, and No. 13 Texas, 6-1 on Sunday, March 16.

The Tigers will host the No. 58 Rebels on Friday, March 28 at 2:30 p.m. CT in Green Tennis Center. They will then head to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to go up against No. 8 LSU and Southern on Sunday, March 30, at 10 a.m. CT and 2:30 p.m. CT, respectively.
